#4 Breckenridge

The Slopes: Breckenridge's base elevation of 9,600 feet, with 5 peaks is home to 2 base lodges, 34 lifts(one dropping you at 12,998 feet), 187 trails on 2,900 acres of land. With an annual snow fall of 107 inches, you can find almost any terrain you are looking for from a 3.5 mile beginners run to multiple different bowls for experts. Breckenridge is also home to 4 separate terrain parks and is rated at the top for its terrain parks.

Culture: Breckenridge is known for its booming night lift with a variety of things to do while also having plenty activities(like tubing, snowshoeing and alpine coaster), restaurants, and stores for families.

The Town: Breckenridge's roots go back to the 1850's and gold mining, but don't let that fool you as there is a surplus of food, lodging and shops surrounding the base of the slopes.

Travel: Breckenridge is located just past the Continental divide near the town of Frisco which is just 80 miles out of Denver and just over 100 from Denver's national airport, making it perfect a perfect stop for those flying in to Colorado.
